Founded in the early 1980s by free-spirited Yosemite climber Mike Graham, Gramicci has always been about freedom. The legendary G-pants were the first legwear to feature innovations that are now staple features of technical outdoor clothing, such as a gusseted crotch and an integrated belt. These elements gave unsurpassed freedom of movement. Climbers loved them, but so did Californias bikers, skaters and surfers. Inevitably, Gramicci gear soon made the leap into streetwear. So today, the G-pants still work well for summer cragging, but theyre equally at home in the metropolis too. Latest updates include a little extra room around the hips, a zip fly opening in the front, and twin back pockets. Crafted from cotton twill, theyre breathable, durable and stylish whether youre hanging out halfway up a big wall or just sipping a flat white at your local coffee shop.

Gramiccis sizing can be a little confusing. The size label states Asia and USA size, and like most UK based stores we use the Asian sizing as this is the closest to the true size. Please check the size guide for measurements but for example, a Medium is equivalent to a 31 - 32 waist.

As a brand, Gramicci has always been about one thing: freedom. That had a lot to do with Grahams associations with the Stonemasters, the original dirtbag climbers who did as much for climbing counterculture as they did for pushing the grades.

Unable to find shorts or pants that worked for climbing, Graham simply designed and made his own. These elements gave unsurpassed freedom of movement. Climbers loved them, but so did Californias bikers, skaters and surfers. Gramiccis defiant ethos, maverick attitude and stylish yet functional products also meant the brand soon made the leap into streetwear. Today, though Gramicci pants still work well for summer cragging, their simple aesthetic means theyre equally at home in the metropolis too.
